is currently the Head Coach at Penn State University.
He moved to the Southern Maryland area and joined SMWC in 1996.
During his two year stay with
us he was

Troy Sunderland

Troy wrestled at Penn State University where he was a three time All-America and two-time NCAA runner up. He wrestles for NYAC.

Troy received the SMWC Patron Award in the spring of 1996. He helped the club many times at practice, he presented clinics for local members and youth league groups, and he attended club functions, often during his busy college schedule. He was one of our most popular clinicians.
Troy hails from McVeytown, PA where he was a two-time state champion and a Junior National Champion while at Mt. Union High School.
