Steve had a tremendous wrestling career at the University of Maryland. He
also helps coach at
Bowie HS during the scholastic season.

Steve had a tremendous wrestling career at the University of Maryland. He
also helps coach at
Bowie HS during the scholastic season.
Steve is one of the clubs earliest members having wrestled with the junior league winter folkstyle program long before the creation of the SMWC freestyle team. He has actively coached and competed for the club since its creation in the early 1980s. He was also one of the clubs first three members elected to the SMWC Hall-of-Fame.
Steve works with the larger wrestlers at most practices.
