NCAA Statistics on College Sports
August 5, 1999
Comments By Coach G
Some interesting statistics were released this week by the NCAA regarding numbers of all men and all women teams by sport. What is interesting is the totals when all divisions (I-III) are compared. As can be seen, there are currently more women’s sports than men’s sports at the college level. It seems that despite opportunities, participation is still lacking.
